On a beautiful December morning in 2012, Ben and Sarah got married, already knowing that God had called them to extend his kingdom through church planting. As they enjoyed their honeymoon in Regina, little did they know that in this very city, God would one day lead them to live out that calling.
In 2013, the Karuhijes moved from Winnipeg to Brandon, Manitoba with a small crew of faithful people to pioneer a brand new church. Four years later, Cities Church Brandon launched on Easter weekend 2017. Since then, they have been privileged to see the grace of God at work in amazing ways. A handful of people has grown into a church of hundreds; the gospel has been preached; disciples have been made; many have found new life in the waters of baptism; and another church has been planted (Cities Church Winnipeg).
In the meantime, their heart to see the church in Canada strengthened and increased has only grown. In 2022, they started to sense that God was calling them to Regina to plant a church that will reach multitudes with the message of greater life in Jesus. With much prayer, and with the support of the church and leadership team, Ben and Sarah along with their children (Moses, 3 and Cienne, 1) are filled with a sense of expectation as they plant Cities Church in the great city of Regina.
The Karuhijes are excited about the opportunity to bring all they have learned over more than a decade of leadership and ministry experience to this new adventure. They believe that the spiritual atmosphere in Regina is ready for a move of God, and their great hope is that they will see a city touched by the power of the good news of Jesus!

We see a disciple making church, a family engaging in intentional formation for the sake of Christ’s mission.
We see a spirit empowered church, fervently pursuing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
We see a scripture saturated church, grounding everything we do in the unchanging Word of God.
We see a prayer driven church, depending on Jesus in everything.
We see a worshiping church, creatively and passionately lifting high the name of Jesus.
We see a generational church, honouring fathers and mothers while raising up sons and daughters.
We see a multiplying church, with a vision to plant churches in towns and cities across the province and the nation.
We see an influential church, shining like a city on a hill, committed to good works for the good of the city.
We see an excellent church, doing all things well to the glory of God.
We see a CANADIAN church, partnering with churches and ministries across the country to see revival in our nation.
